AS 500 ANTIBACTERIAL, the special programme for hygiene-sensitive areas such as hospitals and care homes, provides effective protection against the transmission of microorganisms. During the production process, the duroplastic material is mixed with silver ions, which eliminate the breeding ground for the pathogens and thus restrict the spread of the infections. The effectiveness of AS 500 ANTIBACTERIAL, even against SARS-CoV-2, has been confirmed in tests. In terms of design, the AS 500 ANTIBACTERIAL is identical to the standard AS 500 range. This makes a mixed installation possible with a consistent overall effect as well as a subsequent modification of an existing installation.

The inscription fields are moisture-proof and thus ideally protected from cleaning agents. With only one additional sealing element, they attain the IP 44 level of resistance to sprayed water. Clear and elegant in colouring, the AS 500 BREAKPROOF also uses the versions in white and ivory.

Frames
The frames for the AS 500 range are available in 1-gang to 5-gang versions, those of the surface-mounted versions in 1-gang to 3-gang. Depending on the structural situation and desired effect in the room, they can be installed horizontally or vertically.
